Hey i was looking at these tail lights and they look like they would look great. But I do not want to be like those honda ricers with those red and clear altezza lights which are so ugly and so disgusting to look at. I wanted to know what everyones opinion would be if they saw a silvia coupe with these lights.

What other asthetic mods does your car have?

If it is completely stock, no.

If it has lots of body mods, then it will look better.

But it comes down to...

Crystal tails can look good on kitted cars.

All stock + crystals would look like shitjitsu.

Edit: Basically what Zar said....

I cant stand those rear tail lights, their tacky and sleazy in every way. Their popular and trendy right now since they are the only other after market rear tail lights available for coupes. Its a ricey trend, don't get caught up with it. Spend your dough on converting your actual taillight bulbs into leds, BAM! Problem solved.

Agreed...they look good on cars with kits and good paint jobs...better than most the other options out there and cheaper than the 180sx tails.

Used to like them, but now I actually prefer the look of the stock taillights.

If you do decide to get them, paying for the D-Max ones is a ripoff. The ones on Ebay/Amazon are exactly the same thing.

Cool. All depends on what you like. Minus lights that are like this.

Those are never cool. Unless you tint them red. Then they might work.

Only black, white or red coupes can pull them off with stock body. Other than that you better have some aero and a sick paint job.

They can update the look of your car.

If you want a more modern looking car, get them.

This should be a question directed moreso at yourselft rather than the whole forum. bound to get a clusterf_ck of opinions/sh_t talking

Stock tails are OK, those are worse. If you tinted those it "may" look OK on a grey car or similar. I thought about getting them a few years ago for all of about 10 seconds. And if I had gotten them, I definitely wouldn't have left them stock looking. They would have needed to be tinted or something. But I quickly realized on the 10th second of me thinking about them that there was no helping them.

But in the end, I always say "do what pleases you".... as others here have said.

just use whatever lights that the car from japan, you are copying, is using. that's the decision making process i use for all car modifications.

I think it also depends on the color of the car. I'm painting my car sunset bronze and i don't think the stock tail lights would look that good with the bronze.
