55 watt is noticeably brighter than 35 watt, but it's only available in 6000K. If you are just using it for daily driving I would recommend 35 watt.

Just a question on the difference between slim and fat ballasts. Are there any functional differences?

The lifetime warranty is just on the ballast right?

And I can't seem to apply both ONEX and zeroship when checking out. Could I get both?

Well they aren't really "fat" ballasts, they are just regular sized ballasts. The slim ballasts are just a lot smaller; about half the size. There is no difference in their functionality. The lifetime warranty applies to the entire kit. You are only allowed to use one coupon code at a time. If you order more than one item you should just apply the free shipping code.
