View Full Version : Insurance Help S14 Totalled ;(

Hey guys, basically my 98 s14 got totalled after being rear ended and smushed between a Van and SUV. Party at fault's insurance isn't really giving me a fair price so I am asking for help gathering information.
I already sent them another Insurance party's appraisal of my car and they claimed that since my car is an SE that most of those prices don't count as they are for LE (even though I have Leather seats, alarm, keyless entry). So I argued that my car is practically an LE.
I'm still waiting for their reply but they are dodgy as hell so if anyone could send me a used Auto Dealer that carries or has sold Kouki S14s (within the last half year), you would be saving my life. I'm pretty much down a couple grand because of this shady insurance company, and won't be able to even afford another car at this rate.

How much have they offered you? Never take the first offer, it's just a lowball

Thanks it's already been a little over a month, it's encouraging to know I'm not the only one that has to deal with this bs.

Look i'd tell them 7.5k or 8k or what ever you think its worth. Tell them they have a week or your getting a lawyer to handle this. Your neck is starting to hurt really bad and that car was very VERY special to you.. Trust me you will get what you want;)

Since there isnt a whole lot of them left?!?! Supply and demand, not enough to go around, people wanting them, price goes up. You think MKIV Supras are really worth $30k? People seem to get away with murder with those cars.
