I havent the first clue about the modern Hemis, but does anyone know anybody that has swapped one? I was just looking around at all the V8 swaps people are doing, and wondering why isnt the Hemi more widely swapped?
I really dont know too much about Chrysler/Dodge, much less the Hemi. So feel free to educate me on it.

Nobody wants to waste a good motor, haha. But seriously its most likely because chevy shit is a dime a dozen.. a lot cheaper and easier to find. Im sure thats the reasoning for most people

They seem really large to me.
Are they too tall/wide for our engine bays?

They dont call em elephant motors for nuthin! Id like to see someone try to shoehorn a 426 in an s-chassis!
But yeah, as mentioned before the LS Chevy's are a dime a dozen, hell you can pick up a 4.8 or 5.3 for less than an SR. Not that getting it to run will be cheaper...

Because 1) Likely to big and won't fit, but I've been surprised before so who knows. 2) The car will get depression and kill itself from all the weight you would be adding to the front. (I know nothing and only assume) 3) Ew.
