How much power can you make on the stock rb25det side feed fuel rail with upgraded injectors. i am looking for low to mid 500's and dont want to hassle with the top feed setup if it is not necessary.

Does anyone have any specs that they dont mind posting so i can get some real life scenarios.

Thanks for your input in advance.

In my opinion top feed really isnt much of a hassle other than buying a topfeed rail and injector dynamics injectors.

With that said I made 418 whp (dyno dynamics) on 22 psi on pump only revving to 7k or so with a rb25 with a 35r.

It just started making impressive hp increases per lb of boost at about 19 psi but the owner of the car didnt want to rev past 7 or so because of the stock crank collar and not having any other oiling mods and he was happy with power output so boost didnt go up any further.

Fuel was no issue although I cannot remember his injector size but If I do recall I believe they were sidefeed. The ability to rev a little higher would have yielded much more power. 418whp on a dyno dynamics is roughly 488whp on a dyno jet and I think it would have been knocking on 500s door with a little more revs.

stand alone computer before injectors and fuel. Otherwise it won't really work well.

I am still in debate on which stand alone system I want to use. I have aem stuck in my head but I always hear people saying not to use it. However nobody ever gives a specific reason on why they don't like it.

I've used AEM to tune a Honda or 2 but I personally run Power FC on my Daily Driven RB25 S13. I use 740cc side feed injectors at 16 psi and made 411 hp on a dyno jet, AFRs were a little rich in the upper 10s and low 11s. Injectors are around 55% duty cycle if my memory serves me correctly at stock fuel pressure settings.

What size turbo are you running?
