I think they mat be talking about the picture of the hatch glass replacement thingy on ebay.  I posted it awhile ago.  It's a piece that drops the rear glass out and makes it look like an mr2and the rear glass is straight up and down like a truck right behind the drivers seat. The rear deck is then flat and it saves a ton of wieght as well.

Sounds #### cool.  And would make a lot more sense.  I couldn't figure out what "chop top" meant, but the pic I posted, in my defense, definately has it's top chopped off.
