Hey not all hmong guys drive hondas..i drive a sil80..so you moved to the central valley..depeneding where you moved from it probably is totally diffferent from Fresno..if you are in the 240sx scene there are the SCCA club that does have a drift meet every so often, i dnt know but i can direct you to someone that i know that do participate in the events..also there is the nissan club of fresno..they have meets and drive up the mountains...so yea,..you just gotta make the best of what you got bro..dnt worrie fresno is not the end of the world..

Oh yea and dnt worrie about the hmong guys driving hondas..its more like the mexicans who are wanna be racers..they like to mess around..but there are some mexicans who have clean ass hondas..lol

im from fresno i agree its a lot of hondas. the 240's scene out here is pretty lame. no one understands out to fix up a 240. i will say there are some guys who know how and keep them clean. during the summer they do have some drift events at the fair grounds but nothing to exciting. run the mountains that is all there is to do lol

Great....!!!! So mountain roads , Buttonwillow ,some autox at the fairgrounds and occasionally streets of willow in rosamond to look forward to.. And LA area for s-chasi parts... i just dont see the fun in a FWD cars. they handle great ,get you from point A to B.

yeah dpak has been to fresno twice with me and she fetching haaaaates it. I grew up there and I love to go visit. There is a decent car scene there but not really 240 scene. When illvialuver lived up there it was pretty much us and our friends. "The 240 house" lol Its pretty much all drag racing. And kaos white s13fb he was running 13 flat with his t25 now hes gt2871r and its retarded and richards mazdaspeed3 that shits mean. oh and a 5.0 that looks beat but destroys a 650whp supra that rarely rolls out and there are a few twin turbo vettes. other than that there are just a couple hondas that will surprise you. Yea he was a little shy from under 11 seconds..but his fd now is way more fun and cooler..also you will see some nice ass classics here in fresno..my other uncles and them run the first generation celica club..really nice when they all meet up with to show off their cars..i like to get a hold of a clean one someday..

umm as for that celica with a f20..i am not sure but my uncle just recently bought a 74' brown celica with a f20 for like three thousand from his buddy. might be same car or not..lol idk..but yea just keep a kool head around town and i am sure you wnt get any problems..here in fresno you will see a lot of interracial couples. just start meeting up with all the 240 drivers her in fresno and i am sure all 240 owners will get along will..not as many haters as compared to the honda scene..

Anybody know of a place in/near Fresno that can TIG weld some Titanium??

Went to a local shop to get an exhaust made for my $300 Ti muffler and they tried to cut the flange off thinking it was just stainless. I got a small cut in my muffler I need welded shut. I can't get the guy to pay for the muffler because I have no proof, he didn't charge me for anything so I have no receipt to prove he did it. :wtc:
