ka24et overheating help please!

New s13 enthusiast need help figuring out why my engine overheats. Worked good without flaws for the first month, now the car starts to overheat within 10 min. After starting the car, as im driving white smoke comes out from right side of the hood and the temp. needle never goes above last white line. Engine has one rebuilt head.

Anyone have any ideas at all?

sometimes temperature starts to go down as i speed up perhaps because the engine gets more air.

check your fan clutch. if it spins freely, more than likely it`s bad. does it overheat on the freeway or only in traffic? if it only overheats when you are going slow and normal when going fast, it`s the fan.

that's how mine was. My radiator fan wouldn't kick in so I relied on air going into my engine bay to cool it down.
Today I finally got around to making a toggle switch for it though, so I can put it on when need be
