there is various ways to make it harder for them to steal, like alarms, quick releases, unplugging your ecu, kill switch etc. But the best thing to do is just get a place to store the car at.
Because if they really want the car bad, some people have connections on tow trucks, flat beds etc. so if your cars parked on the street there is always a slight chance it could be stolen.

This. Tow trucks can be arranged to just take your car. That's what they have been doing a lot in the Chicagoland area in the last year or so.

i park inside with the garage doors all locked. theres 2 alarm systems between garage and car, have 2 dogs that bark at anything aswell, good luck, also insured for theft with a good appraisal done so its basically just an inconveniance if some fuckface steals it.

I keep other cars parked behind mine in my driveway every night. They would have to successfully move all of them to get to mine. But yeah, if they want it they will get it unfortunately.

paging systems help a lot. a few friends have saved their cars from waking up to the page and scaring off the would be thief.
good thieves can pop the hood and disconnect the battery so relocating it to the trunk in a locked container would help.
in terms of moving the car, garage parking is your best bet. a thief will want a quick and easy steal, if they have to go through hell to get it, they may give up. This thing about "if they want it bad enough they will take it" is true BUT if you make it complicated, most of them will leave it be.

i've considered wiring in some c4 charges with a cell phone trigger so that even if it does get stolen, i still win.
