I did not come to this site for the purpose of posting this, in fact I didn't even know about it until this morning. I am not an anti-government/ conspiracy theorist guy. I do however adamantly believe that this is an extremely important subject that all internet users need to take notice of. Sorry to bring politics to a fun site where most of us don't really care about the bigger picture, rather just our own lives and making cool cars do slidey things(I, for the most part am one of those guys.) This bill however, will very likely effect our lives, especially those of us that enjoy making drift videos or other cool videos. Please just look at the information and send a letter to your local congressman/woman.

* A bill that is very likely to pass will let government and corporations censor the internet, take down sites at the behest of corporations. My favorite sites and friends have to step up now to help stop it, or it passes:

You are correct, I should have payed more attention. I forgot zilvia had an off topic chat section. Most forums just have one chat section so I didn't even think to read that the CHAT was just for car related topics. Apologies.

This isn't news. The only difference between now and this supposed bill is the outright shutting down of a sight with less justification. We are constantly monitored, cell phones ,internet etc. Privacy was gone after 9/11

I agree with you here as well. However, how do you boil a frog with out him knowing it? By turning up the temperature little by little and letting him get used to the heat..

Freedoms are constantly being zeroed in on, we know privacy is gone, but the more people who see the slow "hidden" changes, the more something can hopefully start to change.
