Yea, so im mah cousin is getting his 5spd swap. he got everything except the X cross member, But we picked this up today at the junkyard
Where wondering if it is a Manual Drvie shaft?

Do i just need this part or the rear shaft too, that connects to the differential?
and can someone please tell me if this is a ABS or non ABS

It looks like an AT ds. That looks nothing like my manual driveshaft when I pulled it. And that one in your picture looks more like the AT one that's listed in my fsm. Can't tell whether or not its ABS though.

well this is a pic I found of a auto DS..so im kinda sure it's a manual DS..but still uncertain.
Suppose to be for 89-90 240sx

You're better off getting the entire drive shaft. I've heard swapping pieces like that could result in balancing issues and a noisey drivetrain.
Be careful.

yeah..but we went to the junkyard and underneth the 240 was just the top part...(the pics up up above)...we wereing thinking bout connecting that piece with the auto rear drive shaft.

yes, that's the front portion.
you CAN mix & match front & rear pieces (rear pieces are all same except for difference between ABS/nonABS), but it's not recommended. Like old_s13 said, there WILL be balancing issues. this is due to the fact that each driveshaft is balanced individually, and in one piece (the front and rear sections bolted together)

just get the right driveshaft and dont deal with any of this crap.
