too bad that yokomo doesnt actually produce those bodies:cry:
but..if im not mistaken those are jus 4wd elec cars with the front belt removed with some hard ass slicks, X-patterns, or some hard foams.

Yeah, thats what i was thinkin too cause seein as how theres no smoke, it couldnt be Nitro. Also, those tracks seem slick, so it probably wouldnt be to hard to pick up!

its all finger control...if u dont have a steady and sensitive finger its gonna be some what dificult.
well..they are in japan..so they might use sticks like Masami..so maybe sensitive thumbs?

There is a thread about this on 240sxforums.com. Somebody posted links of a scanned Japanes Mag. Supposidly, Yokomo will start making these. ABS tires is what they have, hence no smoke. I want one:aw: I've tried drifting my HPI Nitro RS4, it is seriously hard. gotta find some really hard tires!!

ABS tire..wth are those?? like ABS plastic??
besides....they wouldnt smoke anyway..there isnt that much friction or heat for that to happen.
it looks like a 4wd car with its front belt removed. that is the only way can snap the rear end around..unless they mash the brakes counter steer and jus nail it...i know that works in off road.;)

I understood it as ABS plastic.
I wonder if there is a diff between the front and rear drive belts/shafts. I know what you mean regarding the snap, but look at the front wheels in the drift. There is mostly no countersteer. Now, if it was only rear wheel drive, then when he got on the gas, as he would have to to maintain speed, the car would spin without countersteer. I think. Because this is a special car, not just a normal RC with a 180 body. Just thinking. I would love to see some english info on it.

yokomo has had that out for a while in japan. i have only seen a couple of them in the US. last time Chris T. (yokomo team driver) brought one down of socal raceway (indoor track). he had a 1/10 scale FC with sweet details and decals..... full kit, deep dish rims, gt wing, and sticker decals. the tires are plasic with deep grooves for minimun tracks.
now i cant wait until the honda boys start drifting their RC cilvics.... wow, it will be just like Need For Speed Underground.

No, i mean there is no smoke from the car cause its electric. I did not mean from the tires. :)
