would these work in a sr20det. I just read something about how they use them in australia. Just wondering because I have a set sitting here

If they are the same physically and have the same impedance (check this with ohmmeter), they should theoretically work. If you have a set, why not put them in and try it out? Shouldn't take more than an hour.

I'm bumping this up because I couldn't find any other threads on the topic.

I know the WRX injectors are side feed like the Nissan injectors, I'm just wondering if they would indeed work in an OEM fuel rail.

Try to send a message to Chernobyl and ask him. Alot easier than bumping an almost 4 yr old thread.

Yes they fit and are high impedence 555cc...

But they only fit top feed conversion with GM type (11mm) injector holes. The STi go brand new for about 360.

If side feed need PM me

um..
STi injectors are sidefeed, if ^you are saying it is topfeed..
They drop right in KA and SR motors.

Ok, I fthink I found through my searches that the yellow wrx injectors work. What year/model WRX injectors fit the SR20. I think I found a site where I can get them $50/piece remanned. Thanx.

They will not fit the Nissan style plugs. I'm running yellow STi injectors on my SE-R and I had to switch to Subie injector plugs. Otherwise they drop in. They also flow at ~520cc, not 555cc.

yeah, they can be made to work. just need to switch the plugs on the harness.

Thanks everyone.

Does anyone know if the injector plugs are the same for all EFI subies? If they are, going to the junkyard and ripping some off a junker would be a great idea methinks.

injector plugs are not the same as SRs and KAs yo must use the plugs from the subies and rewire them.

Yes. forgot to mention the connection part.
I have them as well and am trying to get rid of em.

You DO need to re-do the connections though.. its not too hard if you get clips with it, just need to re-pin and you're good to go.

and some sort of ECM.

How about these injectors, would make for a cheap alternative for some 550's

BTW the injectors are for a 2004 Impreza 2.5L turbo. Anyone know if these are the ones that work,, well, except for the plug
