No pressure in clutch system

I just changed the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bushing in my s14. I just swapped out the slave cylinder to a new one from autozone but I can't seem to bleed the system. There is no fluid going to the slave cylinder and the pedal won't come back up by itself. The reservoir is filled with fluid but it's not getting to the slave. Any ideas ?

Keep bleeding. Also, did you take out the clutch line dampner? Its the look line that sits between the hard line on the firewall and the slave cylinder line. Everybody takes that shit out and makes it alot easier to bleed the lines.

The dampener was already removed by previous owner. I kept trying to bleed it but all I hear is some bubbling noise but no fluid comes out? How can I check if the slave is good or not? I just dropped the tranny again today to see if the clutch fork and pivot ball was good and it looks fine.

Have someone help you for starters... You'll have to pull the clutch pedal up by hand quite a few times before you'll start to get any resistance. It takes some time to get it done, but keep working at it.

I tried pumping the pedal up and down by hand several times slowly already but still no pressure is building up. I'm going to have my friend's dad come take a look tomorrow morning.

adjust the master cylinder rod? or you need a new master cylinder.

you need a friend to help you bleed it. have him pump the clutch pedal a few times by hand and then open the slave bleeder when the pedal is down. make sure you close the bleeder before he pulls the pedal up. do this a few times till fluid starts to come out. make sure the master does not run out of fluid. a few times of this and your clutch pedal should be normal. do not adjust the clutch pedal push rod. if it was working fine before, the adjustment of the rod is good.

I did have someone help me push the pedal down while I open the bleeder then close it and have them lift the pedal up. Did it a bunch of times but still no pressure/fluid is going to the slave. I just tried adjusting the master cylinder rod both directions but still no luck. I might just replace the master cylinder and go from there.

Have the car been sitting for a long time with the clutch pedal at the floor? I've seen some master getting stuck all the way in. It's very easy to take appart and clean. Take it off, disasemble(one screw on the bottom of the MC), clean, lubricate it either with a small film of white grease or brake fluid, and reasemble it, make sure it's working nicely, put it back and bleed. Voila!

Were you bleeding this by yourself? If you are, invest $40 on some hand vacuum pump to help you bleed it.

have you checked the black box that the clutch lines connect to? i took mine off and ran the lines directly because its a pain in the ass to bleed!

either master is sticking(or screwed) or you have a leak in the line or the bleeder screw is not doing its job correctly. That last one throws people for a loop

The car has been sitting for a couple weeks but the clutch pedal wasn't left down. I'm was bleeding it with some help from a friend. The dampened box has already been removed so it doesn't have to do with that. There are no visible leaks. I'm just gonna try putting ina new master today and try bleeding it again.

Just replaced with a new clutch master cylinder today and I can bleed it perfectly fine now. So it's all good now. Thanks for the help everyone.
