Hello all,

I am writing because I am bidding on a couple of 240sx's for pretty good deals on both. They both have the sr20det motors mounted in them and alot of externals but I wanted to do some internal motor work. Neither have had the head or block modified and both have OEM fuel injectors. So, I have put together a list for you and was hoping you could give me an estimate on wow much is a round about price for parts+labor to install it all. It is as follows:

Supertech spring seats
Supertech valves
Supertech valve guides
Manley Locks
Tomei/Crower 270/270 Cams
Cam gears
CP Pistons (9.0:1)
Eagle rods
Arp Rod & main stud
ACL bearings
800-900cc fuel injectors
steel fuel lines

Thanks for your help.

Expect to spend a minimum of $5000 on the engine/turbocharger alone, using quality components and with a desire of driving 100,000 miles with 350-400 horsepower. If your power goal is beyond 400 I would recommend a 2jz-gte swap instead. If your power goal is under 310RWHP then I would not touch the engine internals, and use a standard S15 turbocharger/S15 injectors for reliability, with a proper bypass valve.
