Noob aero question

So my friend just sold me his origin stylish front bumper for my s13. This is my first piece of aero guys so take it easy on me. He never cut the bumper just drilled holes for the upper core support mount. My main question is do people usually take the stock bumper support out or trim the excess pieces of the bumper on the inside of the bumper that you won't even see anyways? I feel that I've seen both I'm not really sure. Thanks for the help in advance it's much appreciated.

Most aftermarket bumpers don't fit with the stock bumper support.
You can try to "trim" the excess pieces, if you want to keep the stock one.
If you remove it, it will probably sag. I'd fab up a new one.
