Hello Everyone Im New To This Forum And Also This Is My First Car And My First 240sx(COUPE :boink: )
When I Bought The Car I Figured Well Ill Buy It Drop A sr20det In It. But Money Is Tight And Plans Change.
Im Actually Gonna Put A ("I Know Ill Hear Alot Of Stuff On This But....) Sbc350 In It.
I Got The Car As A Rolling Shell. Interior Was All There Just In Pieces. The Interior Is Still In Pieces Atm Because Im Trying To Get It Ready For Paint And No Point In Putting It All Back Together Until Its Painted. I Only Paid 600$ For The Shell I Think Its A Good Investment. But Ill Let U Guys Decide LOL.
Also Will Keep U Posted With Pictures, Tell Me What U Guys Think. And Maybe Give Some Advice.

you going with an older style 350 with the distributor in the back? I looked into that as well before deciding on a 302 because the distributor is in the front. I didnt want to run into any clearance issues on the firewall. Search around on the net, there is some information about it on other forums.

Never Even Thought Of That Problem. The Motor Is From A 1986ish Chevy Pickup. It Think Its Actually A 305 But Not To Sure. My Grandfather Told Me Its A 305. But Ill Get The Vin From The Motor The Next Time I See The Motor And Take A Couple Pictures. Etc. But Tbh I Dont Even Remember Where The Distributor Is Located. Im Sure That He Is Right And It Is A 305(Not A 350 And Ill Just Make My Self Look Like An Idiot Now Lol) Hes Been Building Cars Since Forever. And Is Rebuilding The Motor For Me So Im Sure He Knows What It Is But Ima A Noob To The Cars So Yeah xD. But Ill Post The Vin For U Guys.

You might want to research more on what you are trying to do. Even if it clears the firewall, you need to figure out motor mounts, drive shaft, wiring, cooling, and if your exhaust manifold will clear your steering rack. Thats about the basics that I am focusing on with my 302 swap.

Well This Is Gonna Be A Thread As i Work On My Car Ill Post Pictures XD.
Not Even Close To Done Yet. Atm Im Working On The Body Contour. In One Picture U Will See Body Putty. And Progress As I Do It. Also Will Post Other Side Picture. Other Side Is Done Just Dont Have A Picture Yet.
