okay, so today i FINALy got my TEIN TENSION RODS and CUSCO TENSION ROD BAR on!!
so today i took it for a spin, and let me tell you the results..
-nice firm front end
-easily could tell the steering reaction
-bushingless(pillow ball joint) so under hard conering, TOE andgle doesnt adjust! feels stiff and safe!
i highly recomend this set up for both grip and drift....some might agree, some might disagree! but for me to have tokico struts and sportline springs! id have to say these items worked 100% to what they were meant for!

I wasn't to happy with my Cusco TRod Bar, it made my car have nasty bumpsteer, even after adjusting it many times. Id be interested to see how much better then Nismo Power Brace is compared to it. As for the TRods, I couldn't tell that much of an improvement even with the Monkey Magics, there just there so I can adjust caster.

WEST: yea i understand what you mean about the BUMPSTEER!!! but understand me when i say this!!!!! i have been riding tokico/eibachs sportlines for about 7 months man, and just by putting these tc rods and cusco bar in made a HUGE different is both steering response and front end stability! i have virtually NO BODY ROLL in the front anymore, of coursae with the aid of a strut tower bar.. but yea, still recomend it, although bump steer is a common problem! I LOVE MY BUMP STEER! but i stil have no complaints! I LOVE THIS!
cant wait till tuesday! TEIN HE TIME! hardy harr harr

How about ride quality, I hear a big amount of ride sensitivity is opened up when they are on.
Got a T/C Rod bar, and so far I love it, its a good deal for the dollar. My friend should be getting a Tanabe one soon so maybe I'll compare b/w those. Don't think the tanabe is adjustable though, but it seems more rigid.

those looks liek spl to me.
semi off topic
if you had some 17 inch wheels with 245/45/17 tires in the front, how much caster can you run before it starts to rub in the front of the fenderwell

SPL and TF tension rods are the same.

You setup the tension rods incorrectly.
There should be an equal amount of threads by the locknuts. This way you can increase and decrease the length of the rod by turning the center section, and then tightening the locknuts.

that isnt slidewayz set up he didnt have pics so he was using that as a example

:loco: :jerkit: Did anyone else notice this? ... a tension rod bar and STB shouldn't affect body roll, they just marginally stiffen up the body. It'll stop *some* chassis flex (not much though) which should result in slightly increased understeer... but this shouldn't have anything to do with (front) body roll with respects to suspension.
It's anti-roll (anti-sway) bars and stiff front springs that stop body roll, not STBs or TC rod braces.
