Bought the car in Carrollton, GA in December 2010 and had around 160k on it. It was converted from auto to manual. When I bought it, it had an OEM seibon carbon fiber hood, Silvia K's rear wing, JDM front bumper w/ turn signals, nismo headlights, nismo shift knob, Z32 front brakes with stainless steel lines, and some crappy aftermarket suspension. Here is how it looked minus the wheels. Only flaw really was the rear bumper had been hit and cracked by the tag, but it came with the JDM rear bumper, it needs paint but then its good to go. Also smokes after sitting but no other time, so I am pretty positive it is the valve stem seals. My previous 240 had the same problem, so for now I will just keep an eye on the oil level. 2nd grinds, looking to buy a new tranny if anyone has one in good condition.

I had a 95 that I had put some performance parts on, which were a works bell hub, quick release, NRG wheel, godspeed RUCA's, origin carbon fiber rear roof wing, and some ISIS coilovers.
Swapped all of that over to the 97 for awhile. I had enjoyed the ISIS coilovers for awhile but decided I wanted to try something different. I ended up buying a set of DMax coilovers and got talked into buying some peak performance tension and traction rods and a broadway mirror.
Bought a grill to replace the large whole where there used to be nothing.

Was decently happy with my car at the moment, except for it being a bone stock KA, until this happened.

My grandfather left for church one Sunday when I was visiting, and forgot my car was there. It wasn't even a trailer hitch that did the damage. It was a bolt on the bottom of the bumper of a old chevy truck. Anyway, insurance ended up covering it and got somehow ended up getting a carbon creations hood. It didnt fit correctly and instead of paying for shipping they had me destroy it and send them proof. Here is the proof...

Everything got sorted and received my Seibon hood from them.
Finally got my front Tanabe sway bar installed. Still need to replace all my bushings.

Bought a bottom mount t25 setup from a member on here, then came across a top mount t3 setup for sale from another member on here, and decided it would probably be easier to work on, so I snatched it. The setup ill be using on my 97 240 with 175k is as follows:
RB25 turbo
Top mount manifold
Huge FMIC
s14 intercooler piping
ARC bov
Z32 MAF
370cc injectors
knockoff HKS filter
custom exhaust from turbo to fake cat
All felpro gaskets including headgasket
Greddy oil catch can
Fidanza Flywheel
Spec Stage 3 6 puck clutch
Nistune type 3 board tuned for the above
Bought another KA that is OBD1 and will be taking the head off to use for my motor. Got it cleaned at had it trimmed for a flat surface. Supertech valve stem seals installed, and will hopefully be getting an s13 exhaust cam from someone.

Tune

Questions for you guys:
-If I am going to be running the nistune that is tuned for everything I am running, will everything be fine to drive 500 miles, most to Atlanta to get it re-tuned for my motor since I will be installing a brand new spec stage 3, if I stay out of boost?

-How do I go about wiring up the consult port on the s14 > S13 conversion harness?

-Will I be able to install an SAFC II, and other miscellaneous gauges such as wideband o2 into the conversion harness?

Any tips on things missing will be greatly appreciated. Trying for a small amount of boost, will be used as a daily.

carbon creations sells hoods made of carbon fiber but the destroyed hood looks like its made of fiberglass or something.

was it tough to damage as they claim?

was it completely made of carbon fiber?

Pretty sure most CF hoods are just fibreglass hoods with a few CF layers.

To the OP, your car is beautiful! Although, I must admit, the first shot is my favorite.
