As some of u know, some of us east coast people were recently hit by some snow. And all of a sudden my windows dont work anymore so i'm pretty sure the coldness or the freezing of my car had a play on my lack of working power window. what should i be looking for exactly in my doors when checking the windows? It's kidna annoying not having working windows.

East coast holding it down ! the person who actually first got me to like nissan way back when I was driving a muscle car has the same problem you do in a 1993 Maxima SE,and they've taken it to the dealer, and some mechanics and they have said that "its an old car,it will do that" ,and "get over it,its 10 years old", and other such stuff along that line, they said that you canot fix it w/o redoing the entire power window assy. including wires(excluding glass of course) ......sorry,thats all I know
EDIT: all I was trying to say is that I know of an older nissan with the same problem in the cold

be more specific... does it dont work from only the driver switch or both?
HAVE YOU CHECKED THE FUSE? check that first then...
you would need a test light/probe or digital multimeter to test first the switch for power and then if that have power then you test the motor of the windows.....
or you can disconnect the power window motor wires and use a battery to roll it up and down .. if it responds.. then it's not the motor...
