I don't know alot kid,but heres what I do know.....check it out,the speedo-odemeter is pretty simple, its just a line coming into the gauge cluster, on an S13 I have NO CLUE where it comes from,I am still new at this whole 240sx thing,so bear with me,it usually comes from the transmission or rear diff on a RWD car, check that linkage, its proble something real small, otherwise it might be your actual speedo wich would stop your odemeter from working as well(I believe) .....thats my $0.02 sorry its not really helpful at all...hah hah

Another somewhat easy thing is to check the connection of the plugs on the back of your speedometer. There are three plugs on the back, one or two of them affect the speedometer and tach.
The reason it is somewhat easy is that the hard part you have to do is remove the [gauge bezel]. Once you know how to remove the [gauge bezel], then this becomes really easy.

um, you dont have to remove the dash to take the cluster out.... thats total over kill. check all your fuses, and the plugs. also if its digital, it might have just gone (still a posibility with analog, but more likely with digital.) my digital shit just died, so i put the old cluster back in.

black s13: Oops you are right! I meant to say the control bezel that holds the hazard, cruise, etc switches. I was way off. I will edit my post.

You can always check your connection for your speed sensor on your tranny. I doubt it's that but anything is possible.
