These turbos seem fairly compatible but I can't seem to find many comparisons of them. From my understanding they both spool pretty quick (3500 or so) and their effeciency is fairly comparible. I've heard 380rwhp is the max out of a GT25R and the Big28 is somwhere around 340rwhp. I believe cost wise they are pretty close, about $1000 for the GT and $800 + core for the Big28. They both for teh most part bolt right up as well. Looking for any hard info on the two setups and personal experiences.

why is that? b/c its a name brand? give some points as to why you say that, i have personally considered the big28 b/c of its ease and spool, and awesome power.. but have never ridden in either

Forced Performance is a name brand company too and a damn good one at that. I say the gt25 too becuase of the ball bearing and quicker spool/daily driveability.

Are you so sure the GT25R is faster spooling? I'm not disagreeing with you but I need some kind of personal experience or facts. All too often the stuff people post is BS based of nothing but hearsay.

From what I have found searching the Big28 bolts right up.
Does the GT25R bolt right up or do have have to make some modifications?

I dont know anything about the GT25R but, the FPBig28 is the way im going.

The reason why..is the ease of it

All u gotta do after you get the turbo is add a few things like:

JWT custom tuned ECU
DENSO 550cc injectors(or whatever side you want)
Z32 MAF

But if you dont have the basic bolt ons..(full exhaust, upgraded radiator, fmic, high flow fuel pump) you should do those too.

320-340whp, not too shabby for a lil over $2000

For the most part the GT25R bolts right up. Very minor modification to the LH motor mount and oil return line is required. The Bell shaped intake also requires a new intake pipe.

Well if you knew more about the GT25R you would know that this is all you have to do to use it as well, with the acception of the minor things I mentioned above. I'm looking for spool time, compressor maps, personal experience with each especially the GT. Dyno charts would be great! Oh BTW the GT25R is only about $1080 after you sell your T25 it'll cost you about the same as the Big28.

BB improves the transient response more than spool. Goes in and out of full boost much faster. Just watch a compressor of a bb turbo spinning after a dyno pull to see what i mean.
