I was looking to buy new brembo brake rotors for my 95 240sx. I have ABS with VLSD. I was wondering, how come so many of the brembo rotors say for non abs.... What is the difference with a abs rotor and a non abs rotor??? Can i use the non abs rotor on my car without anything bad happening when i try to brake?

I was under the understanding the rotors are the same. There is an ABS ring on the engine-side of the hub, but thats the last ABS component going from the engine towards the wheel I believe. Those "brembo" ads are only as reliable as the "internet shops" that write them, and in my experience that isn't saying a whole lot. On the other hand, maybe some shops are assuming that "non abs" equals 4 lug rotors....and that "abs" means 5 lug. My advice to you is to order some brembo blanks from somewhere like Autozone (even if its special order) and actually look at them before you buy them. Also, be aware that Brembo DOES NOT offer any drilled/slotted applications for the 240sx or 300zx from the factory. That means that if you buy any drilled/slotted Brembos from an online shop, the drilling and slotting were done by a second party....not Brembo...and not only would that void any factory warranty....but the rotors performance is limited to the craftsmanship of the person who actually did the drilling.
Just my 2 cents,

I drive an S13 without ABS,so I don't know much about your ABS question, but I did want to say to be careful and actually try to stay away from "brembo" rotors online,as the other person said (can't remeber name) that they are only as good as the company selling them,I have some freinds with Toyotas(supra,celica..),and other kinds of Nissans(SE-Rs,300zx...etc.) that have invested in "brembo" rotors that have been drilled and in almost all cases they ended up cracking really badly b/c lack of quality so be careful about where you buy them from and how much you spend
