Im looking to buy some electric fans to make my engine bay look a little nicer and cleaner but not sure which ones to get. My friends have some fans not sure which ones they are but both are pretty loud and im not crazy on that. I know that there is mishimoto, isis, and flex-a-lite fans so im just wondering which one cools the best and the quietest?

You have to cut the 2 tabs at the bottom, and only one of the mounting points line up at the top, but the other one isn't even an inch off so it's easy to fix that. I'm using an aluminum radiator also for my sr. One fan will plug directly into the plug for the factory single fan, and I use a thermostatic switch for the other one.

No problem. If you need help with wiring I should be able to dig up my diagram for the switch with a relay

I'm bored so I dug it up anyways. It's pretty simple, but whatever. You don't have to use a relay, it's just the best way to do it and costs you no more than 10 bucks extra:

i also went that route, but with a taurus fan, it hauls ASS.
seriously will drop my temps a good 5 degrees within 30 seconds-minute. this isn't even on the high setting.
i decided against wiring up the high for now because when i tested it i could have SWORN the gravitational pull of the earth slowed down.

Were they direct drop in? There's an ass fuck ton of them at the local upullit and my assembly has a few cracks in it so I've been thinking about picking another one up soon

That's a negative. Although it's not the worst, it definitely isn't the best.

Taurus fan is by far the most powerful fan i've ever seen/owned. Swear it blows hurricane force winds, its retarded how much air they pull.
Yes you can just drop them in, all you need is rad zipties to hold them in place.
Low setting is 20amps and high is 40amps if i recall correctly but seriously doubt you will need the high setting. If you bleed the coolant system correctly, you will NEVER overheat.
Got mine at the junkyard for $20 and wired it up for $5. Altima fans are just a little bit weaker but still awesome.

yea im also going to get a dif fan controller just so i can mess with it myself. everything seems fairly simple with the altima fans to get it up and running.

clutch fan and stock shroud on a sr is amazing. Anyone who actually drifts or races there car alot knows this is by far the best sollution unless you have a different motor in the car.

im running that stock fan and shroud. but my thermostat stays slightly above the mid way point leaning more towards hot but never exceeds that point, thats why im thinking of doing some electrical fans to see if it keeps it cooler.

Nismo thermostat call it a day. cheaper then a fan setup. I can hotlap my car all day let it sit and idle wherever all i use is a stock fan and a AC fan on a switch and all i do is drive my car at the track. That fan and the nismo thermostat youll be set promise.

Any Altima with the KA IIRC. I forgot what years exactly that is.
I'm running Koyo rad and Altima fans on my KA-T with no issues. Have Altima fans to put on my Vert's KA sometime soon.
