I am wondering if the head that comes with N1 motor (24U) is the same as the standard RB26DETT(05u). I know that the camshafts are different, but I'm wondering if it flows better overall.

I'm looking at a N1 motorset for sale, and the head says the code 05U. In that case, that number would match the standard RB block.... But, the block is stamped with the N1's 24U.

Any info helps guys, thanks!

its normal for a 24u block to have a 05u head
The heads don't have a 24U to match the bottom end. just upgraded components and oil restrictors feeding the head.
The Z tune head is the only one that flows more air and has the quench pads altered.

but then again... whats stopping you from getting a grinder and doing it yourself.
