They've been promising this kit since July last year, if I recall correctly. I haven't heard about the new JWT cams, but as a company, they're great, I'm sure they'll fulfill their promise and make the cams in time.

What do you know about the new cams? What year KAs?

i've heard that both of them will be coming out, just that they both haven't released a specific date on either of them. both r products i want too! if i stay n/a then i'd go w/ the jwt cams, if i went turbo i'd like for it to all be legal just in case.

Even though I wanna be legal too, I'm looking at prices for the other Greddy turbos and most are going for 3k and up! Their cheapest turbo is $1900. I bet the cost of a turbo is #### near the cost of an srswap and that won't include building the bottom end to safely support the power you would want to build.

just like any other turbo kit though. my plan would just be to put a kit on there n have my 230,240rwhp n then just get an exhaust, some gauges, n a boost controller n i'd be set. don't need 2 much power, just decent power.

there's no law that says you can't add a turbo (at least in CA). it's illegal to remove any smog devises obviously, but as long as you pass a smog check, you're fine. CARB allows for "exemptions" for certain products, turbo kits being one of them. they've granted such "exemptions" for Civics and other cars that i don't know about, nor care about that GReddy has already developed.

Exactly.

The XS turbo kit is some $4K with taxes and all, but theyr'e a company that's been on the turbo market for KAs for a while.

Honestly, I wouldn't purchase a GReddy turbo kit. For their lack of experience, I think.

lack of experience. are we talking about the same company. Greddy has been makeing parts for the SR for a long long time just has not seen a need to make much stuff for the KA equip cars up until now. Trust, say nething? hehe kind of a pun there.

I don't think "Greddy" and "no experience" go well together in the same sentence. All Greddy upgrades that I have bought fit perfect which I can't say the same for the generic name brands. You guys remember Kenji's turbocharged 240?He graced the cover of the Turbo mag a long time ago. That was one of the nicest set ups I've seen on a 240sx.He's the head of R&D at Greddy and he definitely knows what he's doing.

Remember their KA headers? The ones that kept on cracking and causing exhaust leaks? They're pulling them off the market and giving out new ones. #### right they should for all the shit people go through trying to make it all stop. I wouldn't want to buy a turbo kit from them. Not for the KA at least.

P.S. Trust parts are manufactured in Japan. GReddy is a domestic brand.

Blah, I'll just wait until Jim Wolf Technology makes a turbo kit for the S13 and S14. Hopefully F-Max will develop an S13 kit.
