best angle kit for a dd track car

hey guys ive been considering getting an ngle kit for a while now and after my last track event, im dead set on getting one. thing is i want tons of angle but still keep my car safe to drive on the street daily.

i know that the pbm kit is really good but im wondering if there are better solutions.

current suspension setup is peak tension rods, circuit sports inner and outer tie rods, and all pbm arms in the rear.

so those of you who have angle kits please chime in. also ive done alot of research but would like some peronal feedback.

PBM, thats what im going with.
ENGINEERED TO SLIDE also have angle kits.

A little heads up, with my modified knuckles I got enough angle to hit my tension rod so depending on your wheel setup you may or may not hit them at full lock. I only bring this up cause you're wanting to keep it a dd. I have PBM flca so my tension rods aren't an issue anymore. Hope this helps. I'd also go with PBM knuckles but I do not have experience with them.

I use Future Fab Knuckles (http://aceupmotorsports.com/products/Future-Fab-Dangle-Kit-S13%7B47%7DS14.html) on my race car. Combined with one Big spacer on the passenger side, and a smaller spacer on the driverside of the steering rack it feels awesome. Another reason i like their knuckles over other brands is because i dont like twitchy steering also known as "quick steer". Which especially on the street car is no fun. Drivers like Joe Haven, Mike Burns, Corey Hosford, Forrest Wang run the same design.

Thanks for the replies guys. As for the wheel clearence issue the wheels I run are 17x9.5 with an efective offset of -5 so I think ill be ok on clearence. And I'm going to be tubbing the front also. The main thing I'm worried about is reliability on the streets

whe wheel sizing is pretty good, but tire size makes a difference too. I run 17x9.5 -15 with a 235/40/17 and occasionally rub on the actual frame rail at full lock. all the knuckles advertised should be reliable on the street as long as either the company or a real fabrication shop welds them. however like i said before the only problem that alot of the knuckles that place the tie rod pick up point closer to the center of the hub impose quick steering, which in a way makes your steering feel like a go kart.

^You can request stock length steering arms on the PBM knuckles if you don't like the quicker steering.

Your wheel offset and tire should be fine, that's what I run and I have no issue when dding my car. The steering will be quicker but I got use to it within about 5 mins of driving my car. Well I lied, I forgot with my setup I also tracked out my front lower control arm about 1/2" so whatever that does for the offset. I just say go for it man haha.

The knuckles I made make the steering faster, and I love it. It's just a matter of preference really. It's not like it's dangerous.

Dethbox, this might sound bad but my friend bought a set awhile ago, don't remember from who, but I made a welding jig off of his set for mine. I just cut my knuckles and welded them up and now I have crazy angle and quicker turning. I love them to death. In the long run I'll hope to be getting the driftwotk knuckles but that's about 1500 dollars down the road. I can't wait for them though.

well i figured id update this. i ended up picking up some driftspeed knuckles. these knuckles with 2 small tie rod spacers, one on each side and cut off bump stops are giving me some pretty gnarley angle. unfortunately i am hitting my tension rods so i picked up some s14 flca that i am going to modify how the tension rod bolts up and notch them and see how that goes.
but ya on the steet they act totally fine. the atio is changed a little it seems but it is actually nicer.
i drove HTM with these knuckles and honestly the only times i spun it was because i was just throwing the car unbelievably far. it really is hard to spin out now. and mid drift control is awesome.
overall im super stoked on them. definately woth the 250$ i spent on them
also after the abuse i put them through at the track im not worried at all about the durability on them fo street driving.

so ya heres a pic of the angle i get now ill hopefully have some actions shots once the footage from the last event comes out
