sunroof spins wont open

i can hear the motor spin but the sunroof wont move at all,what could be causing this and how do i fix it??

This question is a waste of time....

Why dont you just remove the headliner and check the mechanism that operates the sun roof.

Then if you still cant figure it out, post pic's etc. I'm pretty sure you will see the problem once you remove the headliner.
