i was changing my oil today sr20 blk top and i couldnt remove my oil filter so i used an oil filter tool and all of a suuden sparks came out the alternator but from the back where its a wire covered by a rubber thing and i removed it and it made contact with the filter removal tool so my rev meter on my gauge doesent work my lights dont flip up and my time or my electrical doors or windows dont work the only way they work is if i rev the engine and then my wipers go on and i hear my windows locking and my windows can be moved now ... i went to autozone to get the alt checked but with the computer thingy and everything was good except something on the alt it was voltage regulator something like that ... do u think this would cause this ... i already trouble shooted and now im asking you guys for help thanks alot
