I have a 1990 240sx with red top sr20, I've put a t3t4 top mount and 450cc injectors its running really rich and I need help setting my safc

I have fuel pressure regular, what should it be set to and what should I set the hot wire to on my safc

You should set the hot wire to the trash can along with the rest of the SAFC and get a tuned ECU... Base fuel pressue is 43psi.

i agree with jr ss bro. honestly you wont get a good tune off of an safc. a stand alone will give you the control you want with your fuel AANNDD the ability to control the rest of the motor. the afc only really gives you off throttle fuel control and it isnt really as reliable as a stand alone. like a pfc or an ems.

Do you even have a wideband installed? you're not tuning that yourself without a wideband

ok bro look there are other ways around that too. you can do a rom tune, i think jwt does em for like 550....uummm. there are a number of other places im sure if you look, that will do somethin for ya mang...just dont jump on the cheapest option. my dad always said " do it right the FIRST time. so you dont have to pay for a SECOND" just save up your duckets and get it done right. if you want your motor to last any amount of time that is. and DDEEEFFF get a UEGO if you dont have one dude...u could be rich at idel but bone dry at WOT.

THIS, this is the exact reason the safc and other piggy backs get a bad name.

I know that a standalone would be the best but I really didn't feel like spending 1000 to 1500 on one
then get an s15 turbo and 480cc injectors. thats basically the most aggressive setup i'd run with a safc
