:newbie:
Hey guys, I got this diff kickin around, and I just wanted to see if this was something special or if it's just a stock diff.

it has 5bolt output shafts, the rear cover had 4 nuts holding it onto the subframe, so i was thinking its from s13/r32.
Both wheels spin the same direction all the time. I haven't put it on the car yet to tell if there's any difference.

and heres what I can see from the holes

so is it anything special?

Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

looks to be a vlsd and could be out of a infinity q45, j30, 300zx. the rear cover would be able to tell you what its from possible but either way you gotta good diff put it in and have fun

Wrong. Thats not a VLSD, VLSD's have circular holes in the diff.

Its a LSD, not sure on brand but probably came out of a S13

Pull of the cover, it will help you identify the diff (Kaaz, Cusco, Nismo, etc).

definitely not a VLSD... Im thinking R32 mechanical. Thus would make sense with 4 bolt rear cover and 5 bolt axles... Look at the gear ratio on the ring gear too
