This happened to me as well. You will notice that the washer has a "nipple" that lines up with a groove on the bolt. Grab the washer with a pair of pliers, then turn the bolt till the nipple lines up with the groove and it should slide right out.

Bingo, the nipple part of the washer had started threading itself, vice grips ftw. :goyou:

wrong
rucas are for large camber changes
but for fine-tuning camber you still use those
bet OP used an impact gun or did something to strip the washer/bolt
been there
ouch

the eccentric washer and bolt keep the ruca from moving and keeps the camber set, if it is not there and you use just a regular washer the camber will move around. next time loosen the nut off the back first instead of spinning the bolt.

SPL sells a set of rear bolts that will replace the eccentric bolts with standard ones.

A tip for those who do use air tools for something like this;
Put a wrench on the bolt head, and the impact on the nut.
If you use the impact on the bolt and wrench on the nut, it will back the bolt out causing the washer to jam on the threads.

Been there and it SUCKED! If the nipple on the washer is jammed on the thread of the bolt, you got no choice but to keep backing up the bolt. Hope it would line up and you can slip off the washer. Good luck.

SPL Lock out kit. Do it. No more shifting alignment.

I just threw in some hardware store grade 8 bolts with regular washers and mechanically locking nuts, to hell with that kit.

Yep, the bolt side was easier to get to with a breaker bar but I forgot about the washer, at least I was just using it to break it loose and did the rest on the nut side so it didn't screw anything up too badly. Live and learn lol.

What he's trying to say is that the stock junk will work for most stock cars, not so much that they are used for every car.
And why would they have so many diffent nuts? Any quality set is going to have 2, one for the 'arm' and one for the adjuster.

its actually jsut 3 i was mostly trying to get my point across. 1 for the "head", 1 for the "body" of the ruca, and 1 in the middle to lock them both.
