I have a 97 240 SX SE. Its in good shape and moddies are comming along. With winter hear I am holding off further mods till spring.
I have two problems that Nissan cannot fix. The Nissan dealership I go to have contacted Nissans tech line a few times yet the problems persist. Maby someone has had the same problem(s).
First is the "service engine soon" light. Its on, coded for a faulty vent control valve. The valve was replaced by Nissan yet soon after it came up yet again. I am pritty versed with cars but what exactly is it? Has anyone had a problem like this?
Second, this really gets to me. During cruises in 5th gear smoke will start to come from the shit boot area. Not alot mind you but enough to be visable. This dos'nt happin all the time, but most of the time. Whats up with that? It has a faint smell that I have never experianced before. Drives fine, but is quite annoying when starts to smoke. Anyone?
Well, if you have an idea or know email let me know. My email is [email protected] if you feel like going that route. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
