sr ecu on ca18det?

ive read a few people have done this but i cant really find any write ups on it spent quite a while on google searching but cant really find any guide. all i found out was i need to repin the plug for the ecu, wire in a consult plug(if i want to), and convert to an sr ignitor chip and maf.

only thing is i dont really know how to wire in the sr ignitor chip on the ca so any help would be appreciated.

also is there anything else that might need to be done? (tune obviously but anything else?)

Im not positive on everything that would need done, however the ignitor chip will not need changed. What would be the point in doing this?

16 bit ecu vs 8 bit so its newer technology.

a lot easier to find an sr ecu than a ca ecu if anything went wrong. (kinda like how my ecu is shot and its nearly impossible to find one but the sr ecu's are everywhere. lol
