hi everybody My S13 was running fine except for the occasional hesitation to start on the first crank. Today however I parked the car for a few hours and I went to start it to go the gym and it wont even crank. My radio, gauges and lights all work fine with no dimming. The battery is brand new. only a few days old. I can hear the fuel pump come on but the starter wont click like when it is going bad or anything. So i doubt it is that. I already searched the threads but I still need a bit more specific direction. Im new to the 240 Family but I am good with tools so if I can get a few tips I'm sure I will be able to fix it if pointed in the right direction! Thanks!

ill try hitting the starter with a mallet tomorrow but like I said when I turn the key to fire the car up there is only the noise of the fuel pump coming on. no cranking no clicking from the starter at all.

like wat daftphunk said. pimp slap that damn starter. If not, then only other thing i can think of is your spark plugs/coilpack...nothing else i can think of since ur fuel pump is priming n lettin out fuel

I will check on those too after I "pimp slap" the starter lol.

Good news guys the Sileighty is up and running! I found the problem. It was a bad ground. I tightened the bolt to the ground that runs to my firewall. It was loose and she fired right up! Such a relief! Thanks for your tips anyways guys. It is greatly appreciated!
