Yesterday I go to start up my car after replacing an injector and it cranks for for a few seconds then I hear this sound like the starter gets stuck in the flywheel and it stops cranking. I got out and checked the starter pulled it off to make sure it wasn't stuck out and it was fine, took it to autozone to have it tested and it passed just fine. Came back to the car and turned the crank and it was a smooth crank slight resistance when the piston rotated. Cycled through 8 times just to make sure , put the starter back on , went to crank it , it cranked fine then stopped again after about 3 turns and I heard a grind and I can see the whole engine moving. Not sure if the starter is getting stuck on the crank or not , hand cranked it again with the starter still on and went to crank it again and it happened all over again. This just happened out of the blue and I'm really shaking my head on this one. After trying it the 3rd time the starter was hot. Any help or ideas or wild suggestions are encouraged. Thanks in advance.
