BEFORE THE FLAMING BEGINS: I know most of you on zilvia think the afc, safc, safc2, afcNEO etc belong in the trash or that it is just a band aid (for fine tuning)

I decided that since i found a safc2 for a good price I would try to make my car run better with its few bolt-ons (intake header exhaust). After searching the interwebzz for proper ka24de installation instructions and finding little support, I decided to pull out my wiring diagrams and test light. After an afternoon of fiddling, the safc2 works fine, and I thought I would share my findings with everyone. Before attempting the installation I recommend visiting A'PEXi USA (http://www.apexi-usa.com) to print out or read along with the wiring install instructions and the operation instructions.

here is the 1997 ecu pinout I found already created online, I highlighted the pin locations with their corresponding safc2 colored wire.

NOTE: for the ground, there will be both a BROWN AND a BLACK wire tapped into this pin.

NOTE: for the air flow meter (hot-wire style) the factory white wire will be CUT. The side coming from the ECU will connect to the YELLOW wire of the safc2 and the side coming from the harness will be connected to the WHITE wire of the safc2

NOTE: when performing the pre-startup calibration the 240sx uses a number5 air flow meter, a 1-1 calibration for the air flow meter, and the tps system is an increasing voltage reading system. (at least I hope all that is true because its what im using)

If I wasnt such a computer idiot I could make the pdf into a picture, but im not that smart.
