ILink or whatever its called.

Sounds like fun. Do we bring our own memory cards and what setups are allowed? Any limits on HP or anything like that or it just gonna be the "Socal, Who's got the fastest F1 car, GT3 Championships"

What sux about I.Link is you can't use ur memory card.:cry: Another thing is that you don't really need I.Link if you're going to network a couple of ps2s. You just need a USB hub and USB to I.Link wires. Other disadvantages you can't setup your car and you can only use the cars that are already in the A-B-C classes. Best part is its fun going against other people on your own screen. The grip racing gets crazy.

Uh, I dont have any experience networking ps2s- but seems to me we can either use the Ilink and play with stock cars, or play 2 players on one screen-but i dont have a big screen only 25 inch I think. As far as cars go- I would rather have drivers race eachother in the same car so its an ultimate test of skill.

I am about 3 blocks from downtown LA, so parking is going to be hella bad. You can all risk parking in my apt lot, but neighbors are pricks, my friends have gotten called on by them before and got tickets.

Anyone know anymore about this USB thing? Sounds way better than using an Ilink. Also if someone has a mem card with all the tracks and cars unlocked that would be great.

As far as the date goes I think we will have to push it back to get this better organized and more people attending. Plus I found out I have a final on the 10th haha.:eek:

sorry to burst yours guys bubbles. As much as I'd love a GT3 championship, it just dosent seem feasible at this time. Wait till GT4 comes out, with online play, then we can do something ;)
