Happend today while driving on the freeway, i noticed that my exhaust started sound like a wrx or boxer engine. Looked at it, one of the hanger came off of the muffler causing it to have a hole and shaking, which causes my car to shake at idle. Got the hanger rewelded, covering the hole. I thought the hanger coming off made it sound like a wrx and shaking while idling, but still the same. When i rev to about 2500-3000rpm, shaking/vibration will stop. could it be my engine mounts? or maybe running 3/4 cylinders cause of a bad wire? misfiring cylinders? I read many outcomes and just wanted any opinion. thanks!
