View Full Version : s14 sr swap into an s14 auto chassis......

Ive got an s14 sr and it came with a 5speed lower tranny harness. My s14 is originally an automatic and I have to bypass a few sensors, flux capacitors, and such. I know this has been covered plenty of times but hear me out please, I have found most info through searching but I think my issue goes beyond that.
I am trying get the motor started but first......the wiring.

First, I have jumped the top connector for the inhibitor switch. the very top connector such as shown...

ive also wired this up to the third connector next to the fusebox. The inhibitor switch.

please correct me if im wrong. but...

Yellow-reverse sensor
Green-5th gear/neutral position sensor(1 of 2 wires)
Black-5th gear/neutral position sensor(2 of 2 wires)
is this all that needs to be connect on this connector?

also...
Since I have an auto chassis, do I need to do anything to the ascd module or any of its related components or wires?

In my fusebox, the relay for the "ascd/clutch" is missing. for those that have done the conversion, do I need the relay there for it to work? I am guess no since were bypassing most of the safety features, it wouldnt be neccessary...
Any assistance or direction is appreciated. thank you.
