hey guys i'm wondering if my car is an obd2 or obd1. I've heard many conflicting stories. I've heard if your o2 sensors are three wires then its an obd2 and if they have one wire then its an obd1. The o2 sensor in my engine bay is 1 wire, but the o2 sensor near the cat is 3 wires. I also have an obd2 port under the passengers side and my obd2 ecu diagnostic tool works with it. On carfax it says its was manufactured in 04/19/1994. I'm so confused, can anyone help? thanks

Technically, your car is an OBDII(DLC, com protocols, etc.), BUT for all intensive purposes, it is considered OBDI because it is a 1995 model year. 1996 is when OBDII was mandated for all vehicles in the U.S. Any shop or smog place will treat it as an OBDI.

cars made up to February 1995 are OBD-I (mine was made in Nov '94). After 2/1995 is OBD-II.
What does the sticker on your driver's side door opening say? That will tell you MFG date.
