i have a ka24de, fully rebuilt with a bran new (yet stock) rebuilt bottom end with about 5k on it, ive been running 10lbs on it since about 1500 miles were put on the engine and i was considering upping it to 15lbs... so my first question is can the engine, with it being all fresh internals although stock, handle 15psi? and my second question is this... with the greddy profec II spec B i have read the manual thru and thru and no matter what i do, i cant get more than roughly 11psi or less though it. now im assuming the wg srping is a 7 lb spring since with the controller set at 0% thats about what it runs, but i had it at 65% and was running about 10psi. issue im having is that no matter how much higher i go w. the controller wether it be 70% or 100% it still will not boost any higher than about 10.8? am i doing something wrong or am i missing something? any help is much appreciated and sorry if this is a stupid question.

I don't have personal experience with KA-T's so I won't comment on what I think I may know, however I do recommend kat.org. It is a great resource for anything Ka-t related.

Greddy kits have a restrictor built into the downpipe. I've heard of people having crazy boost creep with the crapola internally gated 20g's those kit's come with. For 15psi safely you'll need at least 555cc injectors. I ran 21lbs through a log manifold with a stock bottom end. You'll be fine as long as your tune isn't half assed. Run a wideband and have the car put on a dyno.
