first clean it off like normal, and spread a light coat of vasaline on the terminals. that should help.

vasaline or that lithium grease? when i put the grease on before it still corroded up what do you think would be the problem a grounding of something?

Clean them off with a baking soda water mixture. Then put osme lithium grease on them and it should be fine. If not you battery is gassing to much.

so do yuo think that it is caused by an electrical grounding that i dont know about. what be best to change the cables on it?

I use to have the same problem, so I changed the terminals for Monster Cable battery terminals, and changed the wire to Monster Cable 4 guage power and ground. This stuff is not cheap, but is the best out there. You can take your stock battery cables (power and ground) and take it to Good Guys, and have them duplicate them using Monster Cable stuff. It makes the car run soooo much smoother, and my gas mileage went up too. Then go to Kragen, and buy the battery post rings. They're cotton looking rings that slip over the battery post before you put on the battery terminal. Costs about 2 dollars. I have never had the white powdery stuff come back, and my electrical stuff works better. (Especially my deck, no more dimming when bass hits)

Moster Cable setup will run you close to 100 dollars, but totally worth it. The terminals leave extra slots for other electrical hookups.
