mods if this is in the wrong place i am sorry.

okay so im kind of stuck on which one i want so i figured i would ask for some opinions. i will end up having it placed into the original 350z cluster by "Broadfield" so for the stack cluster, i can always have turn signals, ect. mounted in. they both do basically the same thing, but i have never really seen/used a Spa cluster in person before...so im not sure if i should risk it or not. i guess just give me your opinions on what you would go with and WHY (hopefully the opinions will be by people that have experience with one or both of the clusters). thanks guys

How much is the stack cluster?

Maybe figure that out and it will help your decision

incorrect, for starters, they both have a higher rpm range. I need that since i am not using the vq, im using a much higher reving engine. Second, they are lighter then the oem cluster and since it is going to be my time attack car...weight is important. They can monitor dozens of other things on the car (things that would require extra gauges if i kept the oem cluster). you don't have to try and be smart guys...it was a simple question but, thanks for you're pointless posts :)

the price is basically the same for both.

Ive never heard of Spa, what's the retail on one of those? (lol)

SARD STACK Meter ST8130 (http://www.rhdjapan.com/sard-stack-meter-st8130-24540)

Edit: nvrmd I bothered to click the link. $400 cheaper is "basically the same"?

Edit #2: that spa unit is uglier than sin, I would not want to stare at that all day long

hahah its in the range of 1300-1400, not to far away from the price of a stack cluster. look at U.S. companies, the price for a stack is in the same range as a Spa cluster

yeah...i can somewhat agree that it is not as nice to look at...but it does have the plus of having a mechanical speedo and already has all the needed indicators...eh...i guess stack hah i guess i will buy a bunch of indicators for the cluster.

you can always go this route Racepak IQ3 Display Only Dash for Haltech (http://www.240sxmotoring.com/raiq3diondaf.html) Cheaper and not a bad look

If this is on a real "time attack" car then I wouldn't get either of those. I'd get one of the data-logging Stack units.

im kind of bias toward the ones with at least a mechanical tachometer

I would definetly be doing some research into RacePak, They are as popular as the Stack if possibly even more.

Here's a video of Under Suzuki from SCORCH/Exceed Moat using a RacePak when he was in Australia for WTAC.
Definetly a good unit for data logging also.
