I'll jump in here before people tell you to use the search button. Apparently the first version of the B&M made alot of racket but the have since refined their design. I have the revised version and it only makes noise up past 6k and at that point you really don't care about a little noise. Also its not very loud . . . when I put mine in last year I couldnt believe people made such a fuss about it. Quality product. Don't hesitate to pick it up.

Yea i have the second version and like tubed4ever said it only makes noise at around 6k but the sound cant really notice when your that high. Just make sure you tighten down the bolts pretty tightly because one time i didnt screw in one bolt and made a loud noise and then i tightened it and no more noise. Hope this helps.

I noticed that the shifter says it will only work for 91+ 240's with SR's in them. Is this true? I want one for my 89 hatch and was afraid it will not fit.

Works on KA trannys as well.

love the B&M, dont notice any vibration / noise problems. pretty impressive considering its very solid design - like tapping straight into the tranny housing
