oh yah, i also have a set of fastback taillights in really nice condition that i could trade.

also, i need the trim ring that goes around the steering column and the cluster. id like to buy them both together if at all possible. preferably one with the cruise control buttons.

thanks all!

well i got a dash out of a parts car an stole the cluster while i was at it:), that im pretty sure was an 89-90, tell me of a way to identify it as an early cluster so i could check.

you would be able to tell most likely from the front bumper of the car, if it were a pignose bumer, like mine...(see attached photo) its 89-90. if its the uhhhh other kind, then its 91-94. as far as looking at just the cluster and being able to tell the difference, i really dont know if you can.

btw.... you wouldnt happen to be brian lawson as in 'used to live in corvallis, or and play drums for lawsey's posse' would it? just curious :D

no i am not im brian lawson 15 yearold car freak:), but back to the cluster, we got it out of a junker car at a yard, and the dash was the ONLY thing left on it, but for some reason i was sure it was an 89-90, and i cant remember why, because i remember i was going to use then i thought it was a sohc tach so i said screw it, i just cant think of what made me say that.....but im pretty sure it is, if you could get someone to give me a hint on how to tell, i will gladly look on it to see, differnet redline, codes on the back anything...
i also snatched the wiring harness for it to if you would happen to need it....

~Brian~

p.s. that is kinda weird, because i am a drummer, well a drummer turned guitarist, but still very coincidental(sp??)

it has a different redline and top speed on the sohc cluster, has an area with red but with space in between the dashes and then the full red, and the speedo goes to 115mph

while the dohc cluster goes to 110mph and has a defined redline at 6900

well i got some pics of it but looking at it, im kind of worried about it, i have no way to assure you that it works, it is very high mileage and for some reason the gas gauge is stuck almost up on full... but here are the pics, Your call, but again i cant assure you...

http://www.imagestation.com/mypictures/inbox/ sorry for it being imagestation

the one with the reflection on it is there to show you some of the scratches that are on it, i would use it in my car in the condition its in, but if you are a perfectionist dont get it, but in my personal opinion its fine....

also, the 89-90 dash clusters have a lower red line than the latter models. The redline on them is at 6K. there is another way for you guys to tell!
