No the car came with the ka24de

acutally no... if it reallly is an 89 it came with a ka24e. sohc. they didnt put the ka24de into that car until 1991. sorry to burst your bubble.
The one with the DOHC is a 93 so if you are talking about that car then no there is no swap. The other cars are SOHC so you want the diff out of the SOHC?
