Alright so I've tried everything I can possibly think of and the car is still locking me out of gear.

Backstory.
I bought this car w/ sr20 and excedy stage 1? clutch. Car was orginally a AUTO
It worked fine before I changed clutches, except the engine tranny spacer was missing.

So I put in a new OS Giken Super Single and Nismo pivot bushing along with the OS TOB.

Nothing else was touched and everything was torqued down correctly.

The slave operates fine, and the system has been bled.

Now I adjusted the clutch pedal both ways and still nothing.

When there is more travel you can hear the clutch but it still locks you out of gear?

Any suggestions?

Locks you out as in you can't go into any gear at all?

I had a similar problem once, everything appeared to work fine but the clutch was not disengaging properly. After removing the tranny it turned out that the shaft that houses that input shaft and the TOB is on had sheered right off the front cover of the tranny. The car was still drivable but the clutch would not disengage sometimes.

Clutch disk is backwards, or good bye syncro's in trans.

would the clutch make any kind of noise if it were backwards? metal on metal?

I don't think it would be the syncros yet, they worked fine before clutch was done...

I can also shift through all gears perfect while car if off... if that makes any difference

either clutch disc or throwout bearing installed backwards

I mean you could have the tob backwards. Sounds the the clutch disk is possibly backwards. I've never seen the inside of a twin disk so its prob different that a normal clutch.

Sorry about that. I rebled the line, and adjusted the pedal more and it finally worked.
