Ok so has anyone out there ever succesfully removed the SOHC fuel cut at 112 (or whatever it reads on your cars).

Don't tell me look in the FAQ, cuz that is for DOHC. Tried it and only thing it got me was changed my standard limiter to a fuel cut (so anytime I hit the limiter I get no fuel for a few seconds  ), and it also gave me a new limiter/fuel cut in 3rd fourth and 5th that changes every now and then (can't get over ~90mph).

However the gear sensor removal worked fine (regular rev limits in 4th and 5th).

So now if anyone out there has done it, which wire did you cut. And did it let you go past the limiter while keeping the speedo intact, or does it just keep going with no speedo?

Or if you have the ECU wiring diagram from an SOHC that would help.

you put a switch on the wire that goes to the fuel cut, and when you wind up to about 100, you flip the switch and its temporaily off, the problem with leaving the switch on tall the time is that the ecu will eventually trip a code

and you have done this with success?
I have a sohc and I never really felt it necessary to go above 117 or whatever, but It'd be fun to try it sometime.

which wire is that?

the absence of a speed cut is nice for those 2 hour trips to vegas :D

The speed cut is anywhere from 111-118, stock speedo sucks, mine says 112.

Hmm is there no other way cuz I don't feel like wiring a switch, its something I would only do if I take long trips to different states or something.
