Hello! We will once again be doing a Palomar Mountain Cruise this coming Sunday. We will be meeting up at Jamba Juice at this address 10724 Westview Parkway, San Diego, CA at 7am and will be leaving no later than 7:30am.

We will then head up the 15 and make a quick stop at nessy burger to re-group and meet up with any north county people that want to join us. We will then head up Palomar mountain and then down the east grade. We will most likely then hit up Mesa Grade and Wynola Road before making it to Julian for Pie and Ice Cream. We can then choose to part ways or follow me to Sunrise Highway and out to highway 8.

Depending on how many cars come and how long we stop in Julain the cruise will probably take about 2-3hrs.

Let me know if you guys can make it.

If anybody want to post this up on another forum they are on that would be cool too...

I do, but I do it on the track or ninja when no one is looking. Not sure about the mountains with strangers.

Palomar was pretty burnt last time I was there in late 09, has it changed?

Most of everything has grown back or grown over all the burnt stuff that was caused by the wild fires back in 08.

definately not the place to "Drive Hard" ... It is cop infested!....... I was just there with my street bike like many others. Being on a street bike is different than driving a car. You will get pulled over if you are driving fast through Palomar Mtn.

last time we went on a sunday afternoon, there were too many slow cars up there. so it was a pretty boring cruise. and yeah, very few people in this forum DRIVE their cars. everybody talks about all kinds of upgrades to their engine and suspension but.... i`m down to go just to check out other s13`s out there. i`ll be in my 89 blue with silver hatch s13 rolling on black with chrome lip xxr 006 with falken rt615 tires. i`m down to go to Sunrise highway after. never been up there, so i`m excited.

Not that im promoting illegal activities and what not, it's something you just don't brag about on Zilvia. SDRev on the other hand, it seems more acceptable there. But trust me when i say, we "drive" our cars, you just have to be discreet about it

And you know what they say about assumptions.

Did anyone take pics or videos. We should do a Julian cruise. It's more mountainous and there is less of a chance of running into cops. Not that it will be that hard since there are some sections where you wouldn't want to push it hard and when you do push it hard you'll mostly be doing 2nd, maybe 3rd, gear pulls.
